- Search and recovery diving in muddy rivers is really fun.
- Caves can be interesting too, but they need not be large.
History:
During my third freedive deep inside Swildon's Hole I suddenly realized that I really want a S.C.U.B.A. I do love freediving (my record is a modest 57m) but not in caves.
Since then I have learned to dive restricted zero visibility sumps. I also learned to climb (single rope technique basics in 2012 and rigging in 2014) and took a dry cave surveying course.
I have done almost all of my dives in drysuit and over 200 of those in side mount configuration: in open water, under ice, in flooded mines, through narrow sumps, in black water conditions (non-swift, non-contaminated), and also sidemount normoxic trimix dives. Some local mines are fun places to dive in, but also quite deep. Hence the helium.

Side mounted cylinders, up to two stage cylinders, belt harness, helmet, drysuit.
